Celebrate will be the first single from Celebration, the upcoming Madonna’s double album greatest hits and her final release with Warner Music as record company. Radio stations should get the track around July 15th, according to French radio station NRJ. The song has a little something of Madonna’s single Get Together. Revolver will also be on Celebration with Lil’ Wayne as vocal guest. His rap is about half a minute and identical to the demo. So it’s still an absolute Madonna track where she sings with a high pithed voice. No photoshoot has been planned for the album artwork, which will probably be made out of old Madonna pictures. |

Givenchy Haute Couture designer Riccardo Tisci made the outfit Madonna wears in the opening act of the second leg of her Sticky and Sweet world tour and was determined to make her look as electrifying as possible. He said…
“The new costume is super couture, sensual, Goth, bondage. What I wanted for the opening was to give a very iconic view of Madonna. She’s wearing an outfit that will make history. I wanted to do something even stronger than what he designed for her in the tour’s first leg because she wants to be stronger. I just met her six months ago and I’m completely in love with her. She’s an artist but she let me express myself, which is rare. She knew what she liked from my collection and wanted me to translate that for her on stage. I made a dress for another bit of the show and she said she wanted to do colors. I said why not? So we did fluorescent rosary necklaces over a black dress.” |

Controversy around the Sticky & Sweet Tour in Poland is going up a notch. Lech Walesa, former president of Poland, Nobel Peace Prize winner, and leader of Poland’s legendary anti-communist Solidarity freedom movement, has expressed his support for the protests against pop singer Madonna’s concert in Warsaw, on August 15.
“It’s a satanic provocation” Walesa said at a press conference. Pointing to the icon of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa that he has been carrying pinned to his lapel for decades, Walesa said: “I carry this portrait on my chest, so it is understandable, that I am not glad about this concert taking place on the day of her feast. I am a man of faith and I would ask for such events not to happen on the day of such an important feast of my religion.” Madonna’s spokeswoman was not immediately available. Live Nation, the tour’s organizer, declined to comment. |

English TV mogul Simon Cowell is targeting Madonna to perform on this year’s X-Factor. A source close to the show told The Sun…”The last series proved anything is possible when Beyoncé performed with Alex. The final got 15 million viewers and that is enough to entice the biggest stars on to our stage. This year is going to be bigger than ever – we are planning to get the best names in music. Madonna and Robbie would be sensational.”
Lady GaGa, Rihanna and Robbie Williams are the other music sensations, Cowell is trying to get to perform on the show. |

Fans looking forward to Madonna’s latest live spectacular were left waiting on Saturday night as the star arrived on stage over half an hour late as the venue’s air conditioning was not ‘a certain temperature’. But as the minutes ticked by, fans became increasingly annoyed at being left waiting and the cheers gradually turned to boos and jeers. The delayed start meant that many fans were left either stranded or facing expensive taxi fares as London’s public transport systems shut down for the night.
A spokeswoman for the O2 Arena apologized to fans but explained the reason for the delay saying… “Madonna unfortunately came on stage later than we expected. Madonna requested the arena be a certain temperature – the air conditioning was turned on an hour before Madonna came on stage.” |

The Evening Standard gave the show 5 stars… The Paris show reviews were less enthusiastic, especially by journalists who hadn’t seen the show! Bad press or not, Bercy was packed last night and the show was simply amazing ! |
