About 40 fans , boys and girls, were selected to be part of the shooting for the Celebrate music video at the Metropol Club in Milano. Before they got dressed in Geisha, cowgirl and other Madonna looks, each one had a photo taken of them. Some danced , some jumped rope in front of a white or black screen.
According to some rumours Jonas Akerlund is directing the video. The use of fans to feature in the video, the fact was partly filmed during a party organized and financed by Dolce & Gabbana, the use of the Metropol Club location for free, and the rumour of some tension with Warner Music, suggest that Madonna is financing the video herself. Another part will be filmed in Barcelona and again fans are being recruited; same requirements and email address: lastminutefans@gmail.com |

Celebration, the double Greatest Hits album should be released at the start of September…
The final tracklist has not been finalized yet, but some songs apparently didn’t make it. For instance, True Blue has been removed and Nothing Really Matters is still on “to be decided” list… To be continued… |

Backstage at Werchter & Icon soundcheck… the details !
Fans were let in the festivalpark at 15:30 with Golden Circle wristbands. A Live Nation representative welcomed them and explained that the group will be split in two so they could visit the backstage area. Only condition: no pictures or video allowed. They were also able to see the costumes worn by the dancers (not the ones worn by Madonna) and the hair and make-up area, where they could ask some questions. A rather unique experience. |

Last night, U2 played tribute during their Berlin show yesterday to the two members of Madonna’s crew that died in the stage collapse earlier this week.
During ‘Moment of Surrender’ Bono paid special thanks to the magnificent 360 touring crew and added a tribute to those involved in the tragic accident on the Madonna tour in Marseille earlier in the week. ‘This goes out to the Madonna crew….and to the good lady as well.’ |
