During the last decade, the singer has had one son, Rocco, married director Guy Ritchie and divorced him, as well as adopting two children, David and Mercy, from Malawi.

Alex Ayling from the TV channel Live, which carried out the survey, said: “Madonna’s ability to be able to reinvent herself and her image has meant she has stayed at the top of her game throughout the Noughties and we salute the queen of pop.”

He said: “Swept Away was always going to have a limited audience. The idea was that it was going to be a small film… but you can’t do small films with the ex. If you ask me, I think she’s all right. I think she’s perfectly good. I just don’t think people can get her persona out of the way.”

Finally, Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ is to be released as 4-LP Vinyl on December 22! This deluxe vinyl package features 4 120g black vinyl discs pressed at Record Industry in a 2-pocket Stoughton gatefold jacket with expanded pockets (2 discs in each pocket) and includes all of the 36 songs originally available on the 2-CD edition of the album released back in September.
